Getting started:
Do I need an account to use the app?
You can generally use the GCN app to view content and watch videos without creating an account. However if you want to interact with the content or upload your own, you must create an account or sign in with an existing one.
Navigation:
How do I report content?
Each piece of content you see in the app can be reported to us. You need to tap on the three dots menu on the top right of the piece of content and select ‘Report’. You can report content which you believe is spam, inappropriate or infringes your rights. You will be navigated to a form which you can complete to provide more detail in order to enable your report to be dealt with.
How do I give feedback on the GCN app?
In the menu, you can scroll to the bottom and find ‘App Feedback’ as an option. You will be navigated to a form where you can provide more detail and include screenshots.
Account management:
How do I change my email address?
We operate a Single Sign On service. You can visit https://auth.playsportsnetwork.com/account to log into your account and change your email address.
How do I change my password?
You can visit https://auth.playsportsnetwork.com/account to log into your account and change your password.
What do I do if I forget my password?
When you visit the sign in screen of the app, there is a prompt to reset your password if you have forgotten it.
How do I log out?
Hit the ‘menu’ option within the app and select ‘Log out’ at the bottom of the list.
How do I create an account?
To interact with or upload any content you must create an account. When you try to interact with or upload any content the ‘Sign in’ screen will be triggered automatically. At the bottom of that screen you will see ‘Create an Account’: simply follow the easy steps to input your information and create an account.
How do I delete my account?
Providing you are signed into the app, access the menu, navigate to the ‘Legal’ section and there you will find ‘Delete your account’. Your account will be deleted within 30 days of you making the request (note if you select this option then, subject always to our privacy policy, much of the personal data you have submitted will be deleted).
How do I request the data you hold about me or submit another data subject request?
Providing you are signed into the app, access the menu, navigate to the ‘Legal’ section and there you will find ‘Request your data’. We will send you the information we hold associated with your account in a readable format within 30 days of you making the request (although in some circumstances we may require satisfactory evidence of your identity before complying with a request).
